Have been a while I didn’t posted anything here.
My take on a historical reconstruction of this king from my homeland, I started this project because I was fascinated by the unique design of the crown and the royal attire.
I had to consult with historian friends to get the maximum information on every detail.
Tigran II Artaxiad is one of the greatest king of Armenia who established for a short time an Armenian empire and become the biggest enemy of Rome and Parthian Empire, when these two superpowers united against him and his son betrayed him, Tigran was defeated by the renown general Pompey and was forced to give to Rome and Parthia all his conquered lands and only keep Armenia as it was when he came to power.
