Have been listening to a lot of tutorials from Gnonmon
and Digital Tutors recently.
Does anyone know who started the idea of calling whatever
model you are working on “this guy”.
Male, female, gun, bottle, the instructors all call it “this guy”
Pain in the ass.
I know all bunch of people who are whining because instructors are smacking, clearing throat, drinking, saying something repeatedly, having strange accent and doing whole bunch of other things.
And every time I am thinking - do you even bother what they have to say? Are you interested in subject of lesson? Because if you are, you are trying absorb knowledge from those dvds - not doing a big deal of some STUPID things like “ow God, he said ‘awesome’ again…”. Thats bloody kindergarden behavior, man. If Einstain would say for the first time “hey, check this out, E=mc 2 - isnt that AWESOME? Aint that cool?!” you probably would start whining about this senseless business instead of paying attention to the real stuff.
So bottom line is - you care too much about box then what it contains… :rolleyes:

‘this fella’ is common too. guys like to use it when talking about their tool. So maybe it’s carried over to SubTool.
Speaking of,…without mentioning names(if you have it you know) heard an instructor actually light up a joint take a hit and continue with the lesson.
Have to admit, sounded better after the ‘HIT’
Learn a lot better when the instructor does not speak english
that well, you have to play parts a few times.
One bestseller had lessons that I had to listen to a few times.
Totally serious: lesson was about 20 minutes and kept falling
asleep after about 6 minutes.
Not the instructors fault…
Anybody who reads this, had unpleasant experiences with dvd’s,
post them.

so far i’m fairly happy with some of the tutorials i bought. In one though the person speaks in a real monotone voice with no variation in pitch whatsoever, helps to fall asleep 
The last one I bought is the anatomy one from zack, it’s an interesting one.
