Hello zbrushers and/or students of Mr Oliver,
i am really thinking of taking Mr Oliver’s class soon because i will quit my full time job and goes back studying,
but this study will be short only one semester period which is around 4-5 months, then i am aiming to get into character modeler position
so my question is: Do you think i should take Mr Oliver’s class first (9 weeks) then for the rest of the 4 months work on my personal artwork/demo reel …
OR…
take the first two months working on my own (with my own knowledge resources about anatomy), get fired up Then take Mr Oliver’s class, and for the last month work on the demo reel ?
i would say my current skillset is… anatomy wise is beginner, last time i draw was about 10 years ago already, zbrush skill is beginner (only know a few tools here and there), but been in 3d (interior) for the past 3 years or so
so which step you guys think is better? and if there is 3rd way or 4th or so on, please do share
