Wow! Amazing stuff as always.
I love the expression on the face- a bit of Taxi Driver - “are you talkin to me?” is what I was feeling lol. A few other phrases come to mind too 
The belt/leg straps etc are marvelous- the way they bunch up a bit too makes it all the more real.
If I may ask, his shin(bone) area, almost looks skeletal, is that from the shader? 
Thanks I’m glad you like it. The shin area is half due to the shader cavity setting and half due to not getting around to sorting it out. (He used to be a soldier at one point and had boots covering that area.)
There’s a bit of Deniro, a bit of bruce willis and a few others in there somewhere.

Errr, yeah, sorry about that. If I’m honest I didn’t look much on the face or I would’ve seen the good resemblance to Willis…I just had the overall feeling - “Attitiude” 
Lots of Whatchoo looking at? Fergedaboutit. And a healthy dose of Yippee-ky-yehhh mutha etc lol.

After having some ‘breathing space’ from this one I felt I could do better and have decided to improve a few things. Tightened some of the anatmy up a bit and deepened some of the folds etc as they got lost after the detailing.

I can’t take any credit for the matcap…thats Ralph Stumfs brillant bronze shader. I can’t find the link to it right now so I’ll stick it on here as an atachment.
I rarely get time for extended projects these days so I’ve been trying to fit finalising this one into nights now and again. I want to start clearing out my models folder and get as many of them to final as possible so I can start some fresh ones.

I decided that he was probably getting a wee bit cold with no footwear so knocked up a quick pair of boots with mesh extract. The displace brush was invaluable for adding the leather folds on them.
I’m thinking of expanding him a bit and adding a few more items, although I’m already pushing my luck polycount wise with raw polys of about 17 million. I want to avoid HD for this sculpt if possible as it means if I want to extract maps it’ll make things easier. (I should hit crash city on xp 32 at around 19-20 million due to the 32 bit memory space, so I’m going to have to start seeing what I can add with small polycounts.)
