The Mystery Of The Crystal Skulls...

Thanks to an email from JELEE, who suggested this theme, I thought I’d tell those of you who are unaware of it, about the Mayan Crystal Skulls…

There are, according to one of the most amazing books I’ve read on the subject, 13 crystal skulls, in the hands of various aboriginal groups, including the local Haida peoples of the British Columbia coast…A few years back, Maoris, Navahoes, Mayans, in fact representatives from most native peoples came together in New Mexico, to bring some of the skulls together…Now you should know that:

:b2: Mayan calendars come in different 'denominations' including ones covering 5500 years.. :b2: They include references to what they call the cycle of the lizards...(ie: Dinosaurs, which as 'primative' peoples, they should know nothing about..) :b2: They record cycles of history, and indeed among other aboriginal peoples they are called the 'Keepers Of Time'...The Navaho people are called 'Keepers Of The Law' in the same traditions. :b2: They believe these skulls will be brought together December, 2010, and that at that time, what they refer to as a change of cycle will take place, when Venus and the Pleaides are both visible above the horizon at the same time...According to their records, what we call Atlantis went down the last time this happened.

Facinating information SC. Where can an interested person read more about this ? I would be interested in learning more of these beliefs.

Joe this will take you to the Amazon entry for the book I refer to…Prepare, if you read it, to have much of what you accept as reality challenged…
(And if you really want to blow your mind, do a search for ‘Forbidden Archeology’, a book which challenges the entire field of Archeology…It was done by a couple of Archeologists who traced the root information that the supposed science of Archeology is based on, through following the chains of footnotes and references in the standard texts back through time…Since I read it, ‘The veils have been lifted from me eyes, Man…!’ :wink: )

Hey Stonecutter
I don’t know what amazes me more, that you carved a good sized piece of crystal of your own or the tidbits of information that are behind these crystal skulls. Either way, here are both of your sculptures including your ztool you posted, untouched, put in a scene where I tried to imitate caustics in zbrush only.

thanks professor… i wasnt aware of the skulls…it seems very interesting, to say the lease… i sure hope that in 1210 were all still here//…cant play with zbrush if im dead…lol

Hey Joe, I love that finish you have on the ZTool…It looks like a Sapphire with a 300 mesh abrasive finish… :slight_smile:
Glad you guys enjoyed the info, and anyone who can should read the book I provided the link to…It will amaze and astound!
