The difference between game and film

I was wondering if anyone knew what’s the difference between a model that might be used in a game and one used for film? Do they have the same limitations and is there one that someone might prefer over the other?

the model which is used in game need to be limited in polygon count,because game is a real time rendering process.
but in film there is no such limitation since resources like memory speed are more and it is only to be rendered once in its maximum quality…
