The Dead Six - Command & Crysis modification (non paid)

Hey guys,

We at Renegade Evolutions are in need of 3D Character modelers to help out on our mod project - Command & Crysis The Dead Six.

C&C The Dead Six [http://dead6.renevo.com] is CryEngine2 based project, that intends to reimagine and recreate the C&C Mode multiplayer gameplay, in addition to other MP modes set in the Command & Conquer universe, as well as present the C&C fan community and the gaming community in general a new C&C story arch, involving GDI’s elite commando unit The Dead Six, prior to the events of C&C Renegade.

The team is comprised of modding veterans, programing experts, great artists and C&C fans that have previously created such things as tools for modding Renegade, and Star Wars Galaxies, Crysis, FarCry, incorporating the Wiimote to work with PC’s Crysis, the C&C Encyclopedia in PlanetCNC, the Tiberian Sun novel and other great things.

The Dead Six takes place in the Tiberian fictionverse of Command & Conquer.
Where, in the early 90ies, a meteor struck the Earth and a new alien substance started spreading rapidly around the world, leeching nutrients and minerals from the ground.

This new subtance, called Tiberium - wrongly thought to be called that due to the proximity of the meteor’s hit to the Tiber river - is creating a huge change in the world’s economy.
No more need for costly mining operations with the Tiberium crystals bringing to the surface much of the needed substances.

But Tiberium does not come without a price. It’s dangerous.

With the arrival of Tiberium, a new technological group comes to light and rapidly gains world recognition with their inventive Tiberium harvesting and refining technologies.

However, other forces rise along with these proceedings.
A wave of terrorism washes of the world.
And while different groups claim responsibilities for the attack, a secret UN funded Special Operations division sees a connection.

We are in need of:

Character Artists -
Bring our Six elite commandos to life - a tough US Marine Force Captain, a stoic Mosad Agent, a hard GSG9 operative, a wise cracking brute of a SBS heavy weapons specialist, a silent scottish SAS sniper and a beautiful KGB Major. As well as numerous “bad guys” and multiplayer soldier classes.

Environment Artists -
Visualize mission locales and help in the direction of single player and multiplayer gameplay. From real world locations, including modern and ancient, urban and jungle, desert and mountains. We have a globe trotting experience - from the Jungles of Chille, to the deserts of Australia, to the Mid-East, Far East, Northern Russia and other great locations.

Architectural Concept Artists -
Help us visualize our architecture. Imagine what would the familiar buildings of Command & Conquer look like BEFORE Command & Conquer. Help us define the look of the secretive Special Operations Group Echo/Black Ops 9 and their mobile bases and the mysterious Brotherhood of Nod and their indoctrinated blend of technology and faith.

Storyboard Artists -
Drive the gameplay based on mission outlines - both text and map overview - and help us map out the choke points, events and cinematics.
