The brush customization question.

Hi everyone. I am looking for the best brush for imitating the semicircular chisel. It’s hard to explain so look at the picture below. It’s a standard brush behavior, you can see the artefact that rest from the every previous stroke edge.

This is what i’m looking for

You can see that “chisel” clear anything that rest from the previous stroke on its way. This result was achieved with increasing the smooth value of the standard brush, but it far from perfect because this function not sensitive to the pencil pressure, and when you work in the area where many small detail, it smooth them around stroke.Glad to any advice, or maybe there already is such brush?

I have done this brush quickly. Take a look if it is something remotely similar to what you want. This brush will have the tendency to ignore previous marks, as normal clay would do, to some extend and with some limits.
The truth is that Zbrush has the tendency to fight with any previous topology, specially with dense mesh. Even if this is something useful it will eat topology and eventually you will need to use dynamesh or something similar after a few layers.

Thank you! It’s not bad, though it not a pure semicircular. I’ve noticed that the clay brush has the same result, it not a semicircular and it clearing previous stroke, but i don’t understand how they exactly distinct your brush. Can you explain what had you done?

It is a modified clay brush. I have done some small changes that you can see yourself comparing with the clay brush. Nothing that you can not do playing a bit yourself 2 minutes.

This one is a bit less planar but it will become more planar if you press your stylus a lot. Also no so clean.
