Even though I’m sure that when Belkin designed the N52 they had the gamers in mind, it’s still the single most indespensible grapihc art tool I’ve ever found for exponentailly speeding up my workflow… You can Program what ever macro you want into it…and since it has the option of 3 shift modes it’s got enough space for virtually any 3d application (not all at the same time, although some of my button layouts stay consistant)… also the addtion of a mousewheel is great… I use the standard mode as a toggle for brush size, the first shift mode (thanks to some helpful people here at Zbrushcentral) as an incremental focal shift. … A button for higher resolution/one for lower
When I think about it… it really is silly that we use keyboards as an art tool at all… they’re just not designed for it… they’re designed for word processing… A tool like this, one that’s more twitch oriented is just better for the job…
No, I don’t work for Belkin.
