Sculpture inspired by the novel The Moon Maid, written by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Image interpreted by many artists, including Roy Krenkel, Frank Frazetta or Sanjulian to name some. The creature has been mistakenly portrayed as a Centaur, as they are actually Va Gas, an alien race created by E. R. Burroughs
A fabulous sculpt. I love how you’ve contrasted the smoothness of her form with the writhing sinews and impressionistic textures of the Va Gas
Bravo
thanks man for highlighting that! thanks for your appreciation !!
Fantastic sculpt! I love the surface brush detail and veins you’ve got going on the not-centaur.
Incredible sculpt. So much detail in the Va Gas. I wasn’t familiar with this novel so looked it up.
I’d say you’ve definitely topped the previous attempts by other artists.
thanks man! thanks for saying it for me!! This piece needed a serious review in sculpture!
