During the next few months, I will be going back to school.
(At 58 can I go to the prom?).
I will not have enough time to be an active participant in this forum.
For a long time now, you have all been very helpful, patient, and kind to me. I thank you very much. Especially those to whom English is not
the primary language. Your help was special.
Thanks are great, but I wanted to do something more.
So I did what I do the best, I opened my mouth.
I have a friend who has a friend who…you got it.
A couple of weeks ago, in humor, I sent a picture of
one of my bananas to someone. Within about 48 hours, I had
an offer for a job, details don’t matter, I won’t be doing it.
But, I thought one of you might be able to.

That started an idea which fermented this week.
From Tuesday February 8 till last night, people that are not members have been visiting this site looking over you and your work.
This was arranged through a friend. We have no idea how many or who will be here in total.
They represent the media, DVD, cd, commercial work, and advertising agencies.
Hopefully, the whole gamut.
We advised them that you were a talented, but underpaid, hardworking
group of professionals (hobbyists)
We also mentioned raw talent, cheap labor, etc.
At least some that I know of were shown your resumes (gallery).
They were also shown how to open threads that you made, and responses that you gave.
We pointed out that in a lot of cases not just the work, but some of the person could be seen.
The nice thing about an open forum is that it is open.
If jobs result fine, if not, I gave it a good try.

If we are lucky, then the people that visited will decide to hang around.
It should be noted that I cannot give you the jobs.
If you do not have private messages enabled and have not provided your email address, I have arranged other means for them to contact you.
I am sorry also; I cannot answer any questions or make any comments.
Calls or messages will obviously be a waste of time.
A final note.
About a week before this started I had a disagreement with Aurick and basically thumbed my nose at him. (He was right. I was being childish)
Less than 12 hours later, he bent over backward to help me to help you.
I owe him many thanks and apologies.

Hey buddy, school doesnt last forever so you will be back :slight_smile: We also have a weekend warrior program for part time zbrushers…check into that if you can’t do this full time …I will miss your wit and humor…and am in hopes you will stick your head in and drop a line or two…My email is openly available on all my posts now…good luck…and I hope you do well in school…

sorry to see you go… I suspect you won’t be able to stay away forever. Your efforts on behalf of the happy ZB Central crew says volumes about the size and character of your heart. I hope something good comes of it. And I wish you the best.

Back to school? That wouldn’t be Wagner by any chance?

I Liked your commentaries --sorry you’ll be going --but ya know even with school --you can still do a doodle in ZBrush and send it in sporadically --because at times working in art can take the pressure off studies --so why not say 'so long ‘–steada’ good bye–it works for me when I get too busy ! :smiley: :+1: :smiley:

I promise to shoot fireworks outta my head if you stay !!!

Congratulations on your contributions, I am sure the members here appreciate it. Although I have not been as active over the past year as I once was, I do check in to see what is taking place on the forum.
