I just heard on the News Steve Jobs died today. They went on to report how he was CEO of Apple, and had brought the world the Macintosh, and they talked to some live ppl outside an Apple store who thanked him for their I-phones, but I just don’t think they gave credit where it was due !!! If you’re reading this, Steve Jobs invented everything in front of you! Steve Jobs and Bill Gates were college students together and the Personal Computer was their Idea! Before then these things did nothing more than count and give bank tellers headaches. They invented the Mouse, and the idea of “point and click”, they invented HTML long before there was Internet. It was even accused that Bill Gates Stole “WINDOWS” from Steve Jobs and Apple computers and sold it to IBM. Steve Jobs affected everything we think of as the world we live in today, in a very positive way! Thank you Steve!
As unarguably important as he was to the modern life in the last decades, I wouldn’t use the term invented but, instead, I’d say words like developed, invested or visionary bet. Neither him nor BW invented the point&pick and the graphic interface OS, which was an already existent technology available at that time. SJ just saw the potential on it for Apple while BW thought the future was in the prompt’d command system (which proved wrong, being displaced off the market by the more comprehensive, user friendly and popular “windowed” system).
The mouse doesn’t belong to them neither http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mouse_(computing)
Indeed Serek.
But Steven Jobs and Apple managed this: Copied from the same wiki.
However, the mouse remained relatively obscure until the appearance of the Apple Macintosh, which included an updated version of the original Lisa Mouse. In 1984 PC columnist John C. Dvorak dismissively commented on the newly-released computer with a mouse: “There is no evidence that people want to use these things”
 Didn’t knew about that LOL. Anyway, it’s easy to laugh at it almost 30 years now - not that easy when you are new to the business (any business) and some people receives you with this sort of predictions.
Lets see if I get it work now: Highlight
If a little Steve Jobs’s thought existed among blender community… this is my point.
I don’t mean that blender should be like iTunes of course  Oh my…
