Texture mapping on merged surfaces

Hi,

I need help applying a texture map to multiple merged thick plane surfaces. I want my imported texture to map onto the carved surfaces without repeating (see pictures). Is there a way to re map the surfaces into one continuous surface, or delete hidden areas of surface, so the texture map doesn’t loop through and repeat itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tool>UV Map>Uvp (UV planar) will create single UVs over the planes.
