All new members are on moderated status. You can post but it won’t be visible until a moderator has been able to approve it. Since we’re in the western U.S. that can be a bit of time if you’re posting from Europe.
After you’ve been a member for a short time your account upgrades to start showing your posts immediately.
This is necessary due to the massive numbers of spammers who try to capitalize on ZBC. I would say that on any given day we block about 1,000 attempts!
