Tarzan sculpt

Hi, this is a sculpt I did in my free time ( the little time I get away from the dominance war).Completely done in zbrush starting from the super average man, and using the transpose tool to pose him. The base for the tree was done in max, and then detailed in zbrush…Hope you like him

Something about the head/face is a bit off. It appears that it needs to be rotated and/ or tilted a bit more.

good start though.

This is an awesome sculpt…I don’t see anything wrong about the neck or the face…The face has got a personality to it, which makes it stand out from others…Top row stuff to me…:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

Thanks guys, the disney tarzan was my main inspiration…I wanted to take the pose from this image but still keep a realistic anatomy on him…I’ll post closeups soon. Here’s the image…

not sure if you’re familiar with this sculpture by Mark Newman but I thought I’d point you to it - could help as an inspiration

Intervain, Wow, Thanks for the reply.Yes I am familiar with that sculpt. That is truly an unbelievable sculpt in terms of pose and sillhouette, mine you can call an amalgamation of cartoon tarzan with realistic proportions…He’s infact skating down the tree, if you hadn’t noticed…That is the reason for the flying hair and all that…Thanks for the reply.

The anatomy in the back looks a bit off…otherwise its looking good.

Thanks Phillycm, Maybe the view I’ve posted makes it look wrong…I’ll post some more snapshots soon…
