these are my first steps in zbrush and combine it with Photoshop.
i think the light isn´t perfect but i check some parameters;)
Nice first post, welcome. I am not a tapir specialist to lell you if the shape is ok. I think his feet could have some more details.

the foots are not finetuned
differently too porks, tapris have 3 nails and 1 in the back(a smart pick)
next step are to model it and paint it dirt like and a little srcatchy.

ok, thats the same thing my wife told me.
i try to change the pose and replace the legs in the back, but first i must read
some tuts about bone-rigging in zbrush.
or i try to do this in max.
