I just upgraded my OS to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I redownloaded the trial of zbrush to see how it worked and I noticed a lag. When I would rotate or move around zbrush with my tablet, especially sculpting it would be about a 1 second lag. However, if I use my mouse on my computer it would rotate fine. I was wondering if there was a solution, or if anybody else had this problem. Thanks
hi, the new wacom drivers actually shut down some windows 7 features which may be causing this.
i’m still on xp64 but last week i installed TIP or the tablet handwriting recognition software and noticed right away a lag inside of zbrush and even in photoshop, i end tasked all those new tasks that caused to run and the lag went away. the new wacom drivers didn’t help me but that may be because i’m still using xp.
so you may want to look into disabling that stuff, downloading the new drivers.
it could be something else but considering that wacom went through the trouble of disabling that stuff its a good bet that its causing the problem.
