When i start with a sphere, i have a symetry problem (two points on different axis)

How can i correct the problem ?

Did you rotate the sphere at all, using any of the rotate tools (in other words, not the camera rotate)?

hey I have the same problem, working on a game model which is almost all symetrical and my x symetry doesn’t work right. Its off by a half a polygon

I see this problem from time to time but quite rarely. If I press ‘X’ then ‘X’ again, the second sculpting point usually doesn’t reappear. If I go through pressing ‘Z’ then ‘Y’ (on and off and then press ‘X’ if appears. It looks like X & Y are on.
By the way the spelling is symmetry and symmetrical - two m’s.

but there is no problem when i import a sphere (from another program)

I made another zcscript which shows you that there shouldn’t be any problems with the symmetry if you drag your spherewhile the SHIFT is pressed, Use the Quick Frame option to see if something is wrong and be sure to release the mouse first and than the Shift key.
Also, by doing it with SHIFT+ drag vertically your x symmetry will be horizontal and by SHIFT +drag horizontally the x symmetry is set vertical. Kind of weird but that’s it…
PS Even if you drag the sphere without Shift pressed, you can still align it by slightly moving the sphere and than while moving press shift. It will lock the sphere in one of the default positions for where the symmetry is good and leveled.

just a basic question : how do you run (execute) a script ?

At the very bottom of your screen there is a arrow up/down symbol. Either press it or go aside from it and drag with your mouse up. That will revail the bottom tool area.
If you have your script loaded there will be “play” button. Sometimes scripts are running fast and you can’t follow what’s being done and with which command. To fix that, before running the script go to menu “Zscript”, and activate “Show actions” and optionally “& notes”. That will give you all the mouse movements andtools used.
Note: it is not perfect, some commands in the topology and rigging are not showed but that’s the best of it for now. In some update it might get fixed

I had this problem the first time I opened z3, closed it and re opened and it fixed the problem. havent had it sense :smiley: :+1:

Only press Initialize in Preference Panel…
