Suv not working after saving project

(sorry for English)
I created some mesh, exported it as .obj, then created new topology using Wrap 3, then imported new low-poly mesh back to ZBrush to reproject all the details. I enabled Suv and everything went fine. I exported new .obj to blender to see UVs - everything was very good.
But after this i saved the project, opened it and exported .obj again. This time, all the smoothness just erased from the UV’s.
I made two screenshots. The only difference between them - the first was made right after the projecting, (level 4), the second - after saving and reloading. They have the same subdiv level. And sorry, my UV’s look a bit disgusting, i know that.

I have tried also reUV function - but it doesn’t help, since it gives me a slightly different result every time i click reUV, which is crazy for me - i don’t need different UV’s, i want to be sure that i can control everything. Anyway, after the ‘reUV’ operation the issue is still the same - if i save and open the project again, there will be no smoothness.

What am i doing wrong? I just don’t understand. Probably the best idea is to create UVs in Blender (i use it) and make them smooth enough so i don’t need ZBrush UV smoothing.

And maybe another key to the problem - i use UDIM’s with multiple UV Tiles. I haven’t tested it with a single UV.

hi @takowe2566 , welcome on ZBC,

just a quick question , are you saving as Zproject (ZPR) or as a Ztool ( ZTL) ?

Best Regards,
Nicolas

Hi, facelessmindz
I am saving as ZPR. Never actually tried saving as a tool. Am i wrong with it?

I actually found some workaround. I decided that i just don’t want to smooth everything, since i use other software as well (Mari, for instance) and i need UVs to be exactly the same everywhere. So smoothing is not desirable thing, since it can produce tiny distortions.

So i decided to smooth it up to level 3, then export it, import it again and reproject all the details. For me that’s enough.
