Surface noise looks different when applied

Hi everyone,

What could cause surface noise to look different after applying? There’s plenty of polys. Talking only about polypaint here.

Surface noise will usually differ in appearance to some degree when transforming into actual geometry from a procedural. It is subject to the polycount and topology of the target object. If you don’t like the result, undo and alter the noise pattern, and/or alter the base geometry until it produces results you’re content with.
