Just wanted to suggest something that would be really helpful for my workflow. It’s a bit tricky to explain, but I’ll try my best. Basically, I’d like to be able to use a brush on a model without needing to have the center of the brush on the surface of the model. This’ll help a lot when tweaking the silhouette of a mesh and when I just want to nudge the surface a bit using a specific brush falloff of my snakehook or move brush. Here I’m using the “hook brush” in zbrush in 2d mode to demonstrate what I mean:

The thing to notice here is that the brush is manipulating the canvas rather than the model, and if the model is anywhere near the falloff of the brush, it gets manipulated. So I don’t have to have the center of my brush on the model for the brush to function. It would be fantastic to have a toggle option to turn this on for any brush when needed. Just a suggestion. Thanks
