Subtool merge help

Hello! Ive recently been learning Zbrush, and I think I hit a bit of a snag. I merged two subtools (arms, to a torso) and I think I forgot to check the “weld” option before I did it, and now there is a seam line that I cant get rid of. I didnt really notice at first and have done some additional sculpting…is there a way to fix this now? or do I have to bite the bullet and go back in the Undo history and fix it that way?

Hello @Fyrephase

In the future, images can be drag and dropped directly into the text window to upload them to the thread. This is preferable, since it keeps all information being referenced in one place, and not subject to off-site deletion.

The “Merge” section of the subtool palette only contains commands which re-group meshes together into separate subtools. They do not weld or fuse geometry.

In order to actually fuse the geometry together into a single contiguous mesh, you should use Dynamesh or Live Boolean.
