[SubDivisionModeling.com Forum](http://www.subdivisionmodeling.com/forums/index.php) [Pixologic](http://www.pixologic.com) [Kurv Studios](http://www.kurvstudios.com) [Taron's ZBorn Toy](http://www.taronites.com) Start date: 26th November 2007 End date: 28 Feb 2008 Its time to announce the next big SubdivisionModelling.com contest. This time we have a very special set of prizes and a set of entry requirements that are a little bit harder to make it interesting for everyone. For this competition there will only be one prize, one single winner and no 2nd or 3rd places. So in the words of the film 'Highlander' there can be only one! The prizes for this competition are a copy of ZBrush, Tarons amazing 'ZBorn Toy plug in for after effects (that is capable of many wonderous things when used along with ZBrush, so check it out!) and a Zbrush DVD package form Kurv Studios. Thats a pretty good amount of moneys worth of prizes for anyone to aim for. So what is the theme of this contest? 'Into the Light/ Out of the Dark', you may pick either of those two titles that you wish to produce your work of art. Yes thats right, this time just doing and rendering a model isn't going to cut it, you will be judged on how well your 'art' (along with its concept) conveys either a message of invokes an emotional response from the viewer. You are not limited to just a render either, you may enter animations, composite footage containing models created...basically you have free reign to produce something you personally would classify as 'art'. The contest will run for 3 months due to the fact that we are approaching the festive season. This is so everyone can take part in the contest without missing any of the festive season. The judging for this competition will be a little different to normal, helping to judge this time around is Taron himself who's experience in the industry and world of art speaks for itself. We also have a very indepth interview (probably the most in depth ever) with Taron himself coming very soon, that covers a whole load of ground and is recomended reading for all. Ever wondered why he chose the name 'Taron' and where it came from? Want to know what the future brings not only for Taron, but for both ZBorn toy and other exciting projects (including his current maybe most chalenging work to date)? Wondered how he manages to model so fast? The interview covers all these questions and much more. The competition starts very soon so get those ideas going. ;) More info wil be avaiable about the competitiont for those interested over at SubD. We're all looking forward the usual high standrard of entries. Wayne... Administrator of SubD.

Just a quick reminder to everyone that the competition starts today, so if you need iether an extra copy fo ZBrush, or maybe haven’t got around to buying it yet after trying the demo, or maybe Tarons Zborn toy plugin or the DVD pack interest you…if so give the competition a go.

Good luck.
