I need some help please, anyone, I have subdivided my model, I go from 1 to 5, but i’m getting these random strange artifacts, how do I fix this. What is causing it?
It may be a scale problem. What happens if you press Tool >> Deformation >> Unify before dividing?
If it’s not that, then you may have something odd with the geometry itself. Try using Tool >> Geometry >> MeshIntegrity to check for problems and fix any if found.
To me, it looks like you added an edge loop around the mouth while you had miltiple subdivision levels. So, you are probably not using ZBrush 4R5. If you are using ZBrush 4R4, then you can’t add edge loops while you have multiple subdivision levels. This is what happens when you do. Try going to your lowest SubD level and delete the higher ones then subdivide again. If that doesn’t work then you will have to start over again at a point before you added the edge loop. BTW, this is no longer a problem in ZBrush 4R5.

It worked, thank you so much for that, that was exactly what I needed to do, now back to modelling… I’m so happy now
