Sub Tools + Textures to 3D printer

Hi I’m quite new to creating 3d models from Photoscan, amending in ZBrush and exporting as a .WRL file.

On a recent scan we did the shoes were deformed, so I thought that maybe I could recreate the shoes.

Is it possible to have the main character as a sub tool which will use the original photoscan texture,

and on another sub tool have the newly created shoes using its own texture?

Can I then export the two sub tools as a .WRL file without any problems?

Thanks for any help

Well we’ve got a model printed off OK, so yes you can…so I’ve just answered my own question
