Stroke question!

Hi guys!
I need a clarification regarding the use of the curve brush (made by me, the one in pink).
I created the curve brush and now I would like to use it on the entire edge, the problem is that the indicated part should start on the purple and not in the middle of the 2 polygrouops.
is there a way to tell him that I would like him to be placed more on the purple polygroup? or do I have to do it by hand?

Hello @Michela_Azzolini,

The active curve will be the “middle” of your stroke. If you would like to locate the middle of your stroke farther onto the purple polygroup, you will need to draw a curve there and apply the stroke to it.

There are a number of ways to draw very precise curves based on topology. In the Stroke> Curve Functions menu, the “Frame Mesh” function allows you to draw curves on a mesh based on creasing, open mesh sections, polygroup borders, or any combination of the 3. So you could crease the edge loop you’d like to apply the curve to, or you could assign polygroups so that that edge loop is located on the border, or you could hide all the geometry up to the desired edge loop.

Thank you!
