Strange stroke Behaivior

Hello

I’m having a very annoying problem when using my pen tablet. It seems that most of the times when I make a stroke at the end of it the size goes way to high.

It happens with everything normal strokes, zsketch, modeling brushes etc.

I’ve tested my tablet with other applications and it works just fine, I also tried to adjust the tablet preferences, so far… nothing.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong, honestly I don’t Know, I’m a beginner with zbrush.

Any thoughts on this one?

I had the same thing happening and tracked it down to how I lift the pen when finishing a stroke.

Not sure if I just adjusted how I lift the pen at the end of the stroke or if i adjusted the tablet prefs. I see you adjusted your prefs… did you try in both the system prefs and zbrush prefs or only one?

Good luck,

Sam

In brush palette there is a subpanel for Tablet pressure…

Odd, I have the opposite. Its at the start of a stroke and it has to do with undo, and some kind of brush lag after undoing.

If I draw a stroke, i get a strange delay that lags with the wrong pressure size before catching up to the right pressure size…

Any strokes after are fast and smooth, perfect from start to end…

but if i undo…

I’m back to the lag happening at the start of a stroke.

Thanks a lot! I tweaked the pen settings, both ZBrush and System, and managed to reduce this strange behavior.

Thanks again

I’ve got the same problem… Have been fooling around with the settings but I can’t seem to get it fixed… As far as I can remember I don’t have this problem with zbrush on the windows side… only on apple…

Maybe something wrong with the apple drivers of the wacom?
