Strange selection behavior with one particular file, maybe I pressed a wrong key?

Hi everybody,

I was sculpting parts of a man in Dynamesh, and then I merged down one Dynamesh subtool with another Dynamesh subtool.
So far everything worked fine.
But now something very strange happens all the time with that file:
When I make a selection it immediately creates a immersed/lowered area there.
Maybe it’s another nice hidden function I didn’t know before, but I really would like to switch it off again.
Or is the file somehow corrupt?

I attached 2 screenshots of that miraculous process…
When I open another new fresh file all my settings work normally as expected.

It’s the material you are using which is the BumpViewerMaterial in the Standard Materials palette. That is normal behavior for that material. Select a different material and all should be fine.
