I’ve been scouring the web and not finding answers to the question, is there any way to export fibermesh hair to UE’s new strand based hair system? All the posts and articles I’ve come across are years old and are irrelevant. I don’t have Maya and you like to have some tool to create that kind of hair. It seems fibermesh would be a very similar system if it could be output.
I’m not familiar with the software. A resource dedicated to UE might be a better place to ask this.
Fibermesh curves can be exported as .obj, .ma, .lwo, lxo, or .fmg format.
