Stitch along a curv, border or polygroup is it possible?

Hi.

I want to use the Stitch brush to accurately create a stitch along a seam, polygoup border or curv, can this be done as manualy trying to trace around with stop and start points is messy?

Thanks, Dan

Yes, if you’re using an IMM TriParts brush you can use the Curve Functions>Frame Mesh in the Stroke palette to add the curve around the visible mesh portion. In the pic I’ve used the Stitch in the included IMM Curve Brush.

Thanks Marcus. I was hoping to avoid using a Insert mesh brush as I want the detail to be on a sub devided mesh, then put into a Bump map.
Im not aware of a workflow that allows me to produce a bump map without messing up the geometry, using projection on a frozen mesh produces poor unclean results. I just want to get a clean stitch around a seam, and into a map in a clean method.

Thanks, Dan

Thanks Marcus, ya got me going in the right direction to figure out! I needed to draw out multiple imm’s For décor, Like a stitch pattaern, And got The PolyGroups!!
