Still getting display errors

I’m still getting display artifacts left over when i use the move brush, it’s almost impossible to work with on low res models. If anyone knows of a fix it would make my day, i never had a problem with z2, it all started with z3, I have all the latest drivers and such installed for my graphics card, i just don’t know what else to try. Any suggestions?

Handlebar if you increment the z intensity when using move tool work faster tahn in lower z intentity.Look this quick zscript.
ps: Not sure if this what you are talking about!

Thanks Andreseloy, but that’s not the issue, here’s a screengrab of what i’m talking about. As you can see it makes box modeling useless for me within zbrush.

Any suggestions before my brain explodes trying to find a fix? I work with low poly models a lot so this has realy ground my zbrush use to a halt. It also effects higher sub-d levels but not so much, but still anoying. Please could somebody in the know advise my on how to fix this, i never had the probelm with z2. Thanks.

I am having these problems as well, they are really bad if you have a background image or you fill your canvas with a mrgb. there were also refresh issues in 3.0. hopefully someone will have a solution. the only thing that helps is to do a quick rotation of your model to get the screen to refresh.

Almost 3 years later and I am having the exact same problem with ZBrush 3.5R3. Has anyone been able to solve this? I have an old 8800 GTX with the latest drivers in Windows 7 64-Bit.

I am having the same problem as well.

…Do you mean that when you rotate your model in the workspace it leaves chunks of it behind?..so ya can"t see ****…if so …I tried the rotating method…which sorta worked…also it never did that with polyframes on???..In the process of updating another program they wanted a Visual Basic C++ Runtime Library update …“VBRun60sp6.exe” is the self installer I used…did what I needed…and when I want back to my Z tree later on…no more junk…Don’t know for sure…seems logical…and i’m on an old 3gz P4 ,2GB RAM, nvidia 7600GS…

Seeing the same thing on my Cintiq… I use the move brush… get the weird looking model… then if I rotate or move the tool, it looks normal again.
