Stick-IT Macro & ZApplink macro Workaround

Hello
I wanted to be able to stick a mesh with its current shape anywhere on my document without leaving the edit mode everytime,
so i created this little handy macro that i thought might be usefull to other zbrush 3 users aswell,
So here you have it, I named it “Stick IT”

Info:
What it does is Grabing the current doc where the current mesh is at and saves this to drive C:/ as an example,
this can be changed to another location of course.
Then it loads this snapshot back in to zbrush and lets you position somthing ellse without leaving the edit mode,
and lets you undo the last shape/deformations you did before sticking your last mesh /shape on the canvas

maby someone finds it usefull,i know i did

Zapplink macro Workaround, sinze the Zapplink for zbrush 2 doesnt work very well or at all, in zbrush 3,and the new version isn`t out yet, i decide to create a workaround for this, using the great new feature of macros,
i have made a workaround using this macro feature in conjunction with the ZApplink plugin for zbrush 2,and if anyone is interesed in this macro workaround i will be glad too upload it here, soo others may benefit from it aswell, untill we will get a new update of a Zbrush 3 verion ofthe great Zapplink plugin.
since the great zbrush forums has helped me aloot,i just want to contribute whenever i can,

hoppe my last macro was usefull.

ZApplink macro Workaround

Maclink Zapplink macro Workaround
This is just a workaround,

How too use it. first make sure you have the ZApplink for Zbrush 2 installed,Should be installed here as default C:\Program Files\Pixologic\ZBrush3\ZStartup\ZPlugs,
then install this macro into the Zbrush 3 - ZStartup - Macros folder,

Then here is an example how to test it out.
Start Zbrush 3,Click on The Sphere3D,
then click on Make Polymesh3D button,
then draw your Spere on the canvas, then click the edit button,
next go too textures and Click on the GUVTiles button,
then go to Geometry and press divide 2 or 3 times,
next we will create a texture 1024x0124 should be fine for this test, and lastly before going into the projection master,
select your material,
I select a fast shader here.
then finally press the Projection Master and select your options, i will go for Colors only, then finaly, press the ZApplink and use your default psd app to paint with, when you are finished painting,
click save and go back to the zbrush window and select Accept Changes,
the mesh will probably disaper at this moment, but dont worry,Now we press the Maclink macro button, and there it is, with your changes you made in your paint app earlier.

hope someone finds it ussefull,
its not perfect, but it should do the job

below here i have uploaded the macro

C&C are welcomed
enjoy!

How did I miss this. I’ve been waiting for Zapplink 2 like everyone else, I think as a tool it’s almost fundemental to Z-brush so I’m really surprised Pixologic still haven’t implemented it yet. This Macro sounds great, can’t wait to try it.
