Star Wars Galaxies - Sculpts

Hey Guys,

Here’s some recent work that I did for Star Wars Galaxies, I thought that some of you might like to see it. I was contracted to do a few drop items and player reward items. The times for this project were very aggressive so I decided to try something different. I used ZBrush for the majority of the texture creation work. I would load in my final real time model (around 1500 triangles) and begin sculpting in additional details. Once the model was at an acceptable detail level (all maps were 256x256) I would use MaterialBaker to create my base texture maps. The benefit was that ZBrush took care of all the lighting, shading and specularity. All that I needed to do was add color, transparency and other small details and adjustments in Photoshop. This workflow allowed for a very fast turnaround.

Here are some ZBrush and realtime screenshots. Let me know if anyone has any questions!
