Some face disappear until rotate camera?

Just experimenting with the move brush. When I move the mesh to cover parts of it, some of the faces seem to disappear. It would come back when I rotate the view a bit. Any idea what is causing this?

My video card is Nvidia 450, driver is already the latest version.

This is an old problem with Zbrush…been there since 2.55 I think. You just get used to rotating.

It’s the way zbrush cashes geo when not rotating a mesh. It basically drops the mesh to the canvas and allows you to edit them, but only updates the verts that are edited during any stroke. It has to redraw the mesh during a rotation so that’s why you get that tearing effect at the edge of meshes.
