Snapping to origin

Hey all, if you happen to move a subtool in Zbrush then want to bring it back into Maya but have it aligned with the origin point, is there any way to do this? I’m currently working on a model but have had to modify the proportions of the legs by shortening them further towards his torso. Now when I bring the mesh back into Maya they’re ‘hovering’ above the origin point.

I can always snap the model back down to the origin point, but I then have to worry about moving the Zbrush sculpt in accordance with the model in Maya, so they at the exact same position when baking. I was hoping I could just freeze transforms or somehow snap the Zbrush sculpt back to the origin point, is this possible?

you can take the mesh, export out the LP and import that into maya
move the object down so the origin is where you want it
export that back out and import that over top over your lowest subD in Zbrush.

If you haven’t changed the point order you should be all set.
just step your subD levels to make sure you aren’t losing any details.

Hey Goast, will give it a shot later, thanks bud
