SnakeHookBrush

Hi there,
I would like to know why that after creating an object then I apply the SnakeHookBrush, I can’t save it as 3D object and rotate or scale as shown in the picture attached. After applying the SnakeHookBrush I wanted to rotate or edit the entire object. Isn’t this possible?

Is there any way to achieve that please?

Kind regards,
midcgi

Because when you switch to the snake hook brush you drop your object to the canvas and it gets converted to pixols.

You might try manipulating it in projection master with the snake hook brush. Just make sure to check the geometry option and also that you have enough polygons to deform it reasonably.

The thing to remember is that the Snake Hook Brush, Bump Brush, Hook Brush and others like it are 2.5D brushes. This means that they work with pixols rather than polygons.

I recommend that you read the Quick Reference Guide for a crash course in what this means.

Hi Aurick, thanks i just finished reading the manual, thanks  Now I have more of an understanding. Cheers
I completly forgot Zbrush how it worked after stop using for a while. Anyway, I’m back now

billrobertson42: I tried your technic in using projection master and I also checked the geometry, but no matter what my snakes always explode after when I pick up my object again… Sigh…

In the 1.jpg is when I’m in Projection Master using the snake hook brush, then I pick it up and it becomes like as shown in 2.jpg  1.jpg

I think like many here in the forum, this tool is very very helpful and speeds up alot your work, like other tools here in ZB hehe.

Any help would be cool
Cheers
