Is there a trick to it? I am trying Smart Resym and it isn’t working. I am masking the side I want to copy over.
Is the model centered? (Look at it in the Tool>Preview window. Is the red cross in the middle of the object?)
Also, is it symmetrical across the selected axis? All the deformations have X Y Z switches that can be turned on and off. If you have the wrong axis selected for your model, nothing will happen or you’ll get unpredictable results.
I’ve the same your problem, the smart resym doesn’t works anymore!
take a look to my options, are similar to yours?
Someone helps us!

Ok I’ve done the upgrade to Zbrush 3.1 but the problem persist!!
At the moment, I’ve notice two strange things.
Smart resym works on other models!
And then, Zbrush gives me this message “0% symmetry point found, Symmetry map was not stored”.
Kelasa, I’m sorry if I’ve take your thread to solve my problem, but I hope that this could be helpful to you too.
Oh I figured it out, finally!
I’ ve discovered the function called “Use poseable symmetry” under the Transform Palette
Thanks guys.
