Small mouse cursor, but normal sized horizontal cursor

The mouse cursor changes from the normal sized horizontal, to a tiny cursor icon. It’s not a big problem, but it’s very annoying when hovering over buttons because of the speed change.

Both videos running the same setup (home and work)

  • 4k (same monitors)
  • Two additional screens connected

Tiny Cursor:

Normal cursor:

It’s contextual. It changes to a pointer when pressing a button and not a slider. Some of the buttons have small toggle elements that the other cursor is not accurate enough to hit.

There shouldn’t be any discernible “speed change”.

[edit] I missed your first video. I don’t know what different setups produced the two videos, but the pointer icon does look smaller than it should be in the first video.

I have no idea whats going on with whatever install produced the first vid, sorry.

@Spyndel
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have no idea either.

I had the same problem with the 2018 version of Zbrush on the same PC as well. It came suddenly and went away after the first 2019 update. But just a few days ago it came back. I have no issues with other 3D programs or applications.

I will check if it goes away after I install the new 2019.1 update that came yesterday.
