I really love the program and it is literally changing my life, but as I continue to learn and improve, there are some minor, but very annoying things I would like to get them out of the way:
- Is there a way to rotate a mesh/model and have it rotate horizontally? I am talking about restricting rotation around X-axis.
- Why is it that I can’t open a saved project straight from a finder without getting error message? The only way I can do it is by using a Lightbox.
- A very re-occuring problem is all of a sudden the mesh I am working on stop responding and when I happen to drag on the empty space, a new one comes up, now I have two, one that doesn’t respond that stand in the way and a new model. What could I possibly be doing wrong. This happens a lot. I know about the need to go to Edit Mode right after adding a Tool, but sometimes this happens when I am deep into my project.
- When I bring the model to Cinema 4D using GoZ, the model appears facing forward as usual, but in other Ortho views, he appears facing the opposite direction, so the right will be left, front will be back. This becomes a major problem when rigging. I tried it with a Character Object and the model ended up walking backwards. The problem goes back to how C4D treat the importation of the model. How do I fix this?
- What’s the best way to sculpt a mouth and fingers?
PS. Primarily I use ZSphere to create a base mesh. I have decided to focus on that workflow before I try alternative ways.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
