slice brush, auto fill holes?

EDIT: Sorry! Posted in the wrong forum! can the mods move this? :o

Hello all,

Using the slicerect tool, I have sliced a mesh, and then hidden part of the slice.
As you can see below I am left with a gaping hole in the mesh. Is there a way to fill this in, so the surface follows the slice and does not leave a gaping hole?

thanks in advance!

Tool > Geometry > Modify Topology > Close Holes.
Or
Set the model in Dynamesh-Modus.

ahah! Close holes!!! I knew I’d seen something that could do this. I thought in previous versions the slice tool could do this automatically, but the closed holes will do nicely.

Or you close your holes with ZModeler. But that’s more work, if you Model has many polygons and a big hole/holes.
You have then to close poly by poly (edge by Edge, so to speak):

RightClick on an Edge > Close > Concave Hole (then: on click to only one edge. Finish! But with this version you receive triangles as closed, new Polys!)

Or with other-(Better solution):
RightClick on an Edge: Bridge > Edges (then: once click to an Edge and then to the other Edge). This give you clean new, closed polys.
