if some of these big companies knew what was good for them, they’d take a serious look at pixologic. not that it would be a good thing for current users.
Why did you guys sell the company?
It’s all about reach and resources.
Translation: Google reached out to us with a lot of resources, and by resources we mean cash.
Google will help us spread the word about SketchUp around the world. So this acquisition enables us to reach out to new users who may not have heard of SketchUp yet and gives us the resources to better serve our current, loyal customers (a heartfelt thanks to all of you for getting us this far)
Transation: Yeah, now that we’re loaded we’re going to continue work real hard for you guys. Yup…
In fact, we get kind of giddy when we think of the resources we now have at our disposal.The possibilities are truly limitless.
