Hi everyone!
I’ve been teaching myself for the past 3 years the production pipeline for video game characters and decided it’s about time I started this sketchbook to get more motivation and continue improving. Any feedback is more than welcome, feel free to rip everything apart!

The first character worth showing was a great learning experience. I did both the concept and the modeling, which proved to be doubly difficult. I still haven’t quite exactly mastered modeling faces and hair, so the mask was mostly an improvisation. The model was also posed before sculpting, which isn’t ideal for video games, but I learned a lot in the process.
Texturing this character was a great opportunity to try out and learn Quixel Suite. There are a lot of things I would have liked to improve on this piece, but I eventually had to call it done last year and move on.
