Siberian snow leopard

Greetings,

This morning I began working on a snow leopard model. The base was made out of Zspheres and then converted into adaptive skin. The texture was painted with Projection Master, I used the fiber brush to paint the fur texture. This afternoon I came back to the image and finished off the rest of the image. The grass was made with the fiber material and the sky was painted directly in Zbrush. Finally I imported it into PhotoShop and touched up a few areas. ![schneeleopard.jpg|900x675](upload://fumvsMdYhqxtEgzpLdThkYG3zAE.jpeg) Matt :)

Matt,

Love your texturing and use of the fibre brush, as ever!

I am not sure about the geometry of this model though…I would add some volume to the cheek areas - the face is too slender along the snout for a snow leopard…

Here’s an example image that clearly shows what I mean:

Thanks for the C&C NLightUK!
I left the geometry smooth and little more round on purpose since like most animals and people there is a variation from one to another, and from one age to another. I wanted a somewhat juvenile aged leopard, something more in this age range:

Hi, mmbenya, this is very nice and subtle modeling, but ‘Mops’ made me laugh out loud. :+1: 50.

I agree, “mops” is tops:+1:

jantim

Hey 50’s thanks and dank je jantim! I am glad to hear that you liked the mops! It seems like it is one of the more poplar ones that I have posted on here. Nipplelicker suggested I should turn it into a small wall poster, maybe I will look into that after all.
