Should ZBrush include a pre-made Zsphere figure in the next version?

Do you think that ZBrush should already have a pre-made zsphere figure that we can play around with and use to sculpt our own 3D characters? Or would this make it too much like Poser and we should all have to learn to make basic zsphere humanoids ourselves?

if so i hope its really simple, i’m so tired of seeing the demohead. i think its a bad idea to be honest, humanoids are the most sculpted models, i think its better for people to learn how to make and use zsphere models, they really are so simple to use anyhow.

How far should we use pre-made “tools” though? Is using SUPER-AVERAGE man as the base for your sculpture a bad thing?

SAM (super average man) is good for getting your first steps into zbrush, but if you stick to him ya’ll never learn anatomy for good…

That’s true. I’ve never actually used him myself other than for sticking him in the background for reference.

But I think a simple posable pre-made ZSphere figure would not be as bad. You would still have to sculpt in the bodily forms yourself. If anything it would be good for getting the proportions right. Or maybe even an actual Skeleton ZTool would be helpful.

You can save a zSphere rig made by yourself in the tools folder, and save it with the name of the default sphere (that makes zBrush load your zsphere model every time you open zBrush), be sure to backup the sphere.

Well obviously you can save your zsphere tools. But it would be nice if we already had a pre-made zsphere equivalent of SuperAverage Man.

I usually delete the premade models. I think Pixo providing premade sculpts is a good thing for beginners. I have used them for quick tests and experiments.

I have two humanoid base meshes that I created one male one female. They still need to be retopoed but they work for just wanting to jump in on a sculpture.
I’ll put a link to them soon.
