Shift + Alt + mouse click does what????

Hi,

I can’t find any reference or documentation for the name of this keyboard shortcut, but it does a great effect…It seems to act like a cavity mask brush that deepens cavities when zadd is turned on. Except no masks are turned on. Basically any grooves or cavities become deeper when you apply this brush.

Anybody know the name of the exact name of this effect and what exactly it doing? I don’t want to blindly apply this without knowing the name of it.

lol, you’re just using the smooth brush in zsub mode which does that cool effect of enhancing detail as you’ve noticed. i’m guessing one of those new brushes for the mac version is just derived off this behavior.
shift= smooth brush shortcut
alt= zsub (all brushes)

Ah thanks! I hardly use zsub since I usually just press the alt button while in zadd mode.
