Is there a way to control the Mask Sharpness when working with single Poly’s?
There is always a “blur” around the mask.
“Sharpen Mask” is not helping.
Also tried adjusting the Mask Curve, with no useful result.

If you only want the 4 centered in the rectangle, make sure your selection doesn’t extend past them(your yellow dotted line is too far). Sometimes hiding everything except what you wish masked and then masking works well. Keep trying.
Thanks for the reply Doug,
good point about the yellow line, iI’m asking does ZBrush allow for a non blurred mask?
Hiding, masking, unhiding, gives the same blur.
I’m looking for the same clarity for a mask as is shown by Poly groups.
I’m just wondering if there is a setting to get rid of the blur.
Masking is by point, not polygon. Most points in a model belong to more than one polygon, so if a polygon is completely masked (so all four points are masked) the polygons that surround it will be partially masked. This doesn’t matter too much when a model is high poly but will show a lot more with low poly models.
“Poly” point taken, thanks!
