[ shadowbox ] converting plane masking to texture/alpha

Hy guys ! i’ve made a shape using shadowbox and i want to refine and enhance the masks for the projection planes in photoshop, but i can’t figure out how to “bake” the masking to a texture/alpha. Can anybody help pls ?

  1. Press Tool>Texture Map>New From Masking.
  2. Press Tool>Texture Map>Clone Txtr to copy the result to the main Texture palette from where you can export it.

To bring the map back in:

  1. With the ShadowBox in Edit mode, import it into the Texture palette, then click the Tool>Texture Map thumbnail and select the map from the popup.
  2. Press Tool>Masking>Mask by Intensity.
  3. Turn off Tool>Texture Map>Texture On to check the masking, then click on the ShadowBox to update the shape.
