Shader Authoring

Looking to see if it is possible to write a custom utility shader for zbrush… something like hlsl, glsl… zbrushes own thing. Internet searches have come up with nothing useful so far, and any help would be awesome.

As far as I know, the only way to create a new material is to use the existing ones and modify them. There’s nothing more sophisticated available, using zscript or anything else.
