Serial/Activation (can enter no serial)

PARENT-SUPPORT CHILD-Activation and Registration Troubleshooting

  • got my serial from cleverbridge (including installing instructions)
  • downloaded/installed

during/after first launch of ZBrush4.0 it jumps right into the activation routine,
means >> I’ve got no chance to enter my serial (and/or description of my machine).
Instead I am prompted to enter my activation code - the one that I obviously do not have (because I had no chance to enter my serial … please read above).

Heureka!

The solution to the problem (consisting of a not opened browser) is to not use GoogleChrome & maybe a few other browsers.

For me, Firefox finally worked. Means >> the browser opened up the correct page to let me enter my serial/receive the activation code.

If it had been not for Matthew making me think…!
