Selecting Object

Someone please help me out with selecting object problem

I read the instruction for it at the FAQ. I understood the most part. But, I did not understand how it work with ZBrush and the canvas tools with snapshot and layer clear. The “Layer clear” is only to retrieve the object from tool that were lost.

I want to be able to select my primary primitive, or select any object, or store object for future selection whenever I want to transform it again. Is it avialable in ZBrush 1.55b? OR, is there a Zscript for it?

Is there any good tutorial for it? I wish that zbrush was more simple for modeling users.

Hi Washington
The primite3D are always in the tools palette!

Your model are never erase with the Delete layer !

What you want to do, is when you draw your object press the M key on your keyboard. This will mark the object’s position. As Frenchy said, the original object remains in your Tool palette until the end of your ZBrush session.

When you wish to return to the object on the canvas, either clear the layer or use the Eraser brush (if there are other items on the same layer). Then select the tool in the Tool palette again and click the small dot where the center of the object had been – that’s the marker. The object will be redrawn in the same position, scale and orientation that it originally had been. You can then immediately enter Edit mode to continue modifying the object.
